LOOKOUT VIEWS
Lookout View in Plettenberg Bay comprises 14 contemporary units, which we designed to maximise privacy, natural light, and views towards the bay and surrounding mountains. The development is organised around a north-facing orientation to provide protection from prevailing winds, while the staggered placement of units was intentional, enhancing spatial separation and visual privacy. Furthermore, in the foyer, we introduced a clear material language, combining indoor planting and water features with a restrained palette of wood, steel, and glass, supported by lift access to all levels.
Internally, we planned the open layout to promote spatial continuity. Additionally, wide glazed stacking doors connect the living areas to generous balconies that incorporate integrated braai and bar facilities. As a result, the living environment extends outward, strengthening the relationship between interior and exterior space. Positioned in a quieter street yet close to Plettenberg Bay’s central amenities, Lookout View reflects our considered architectural response to coastal living.
