MOUNTAIN ROAD HOME

This home is on and incredibly steep North facing River view site within Simola. As such the steep slope and vast views provide amazing drama and a perfect opportunity for an exciting design. Consequently we explored stacking the home to maximise the perfect orientation of the site.

The solution is a simple and effective layout on multiple levels for this family home. Also, the extensive use of glass was paramount to realise the endless views from this incredible site. Thin forms and concrete overhangs  are a feature of this design. Furthermore we intend to use sustainable timber screens and pergolas to add detail and soften the overall aesthetic.
