Prevailing winds from the East are part of the lifestyle in the coastal parts of the Eastern Cape. Consequently we sought to include a large living courtyard. The pool is also set within this court. As such the pool forms an integral part to the wrap around living functions. A large design brief and a steep site also meant some functions needed to be stacked.
