Simola24

Simola 24 is a great example of Contemporary Coastal Architecture.

The site is on the Eastern Ridge line of Simola Golf Estate above Knysna. The site has great orientation and amazing views towards the Knysna Heads.

Initially conceived as a luxury home for a social family. The family required large entertainment and living spaces. Consequently and due to the brief, we explored a home design around a split level courtyard. Notably, the courtyard is an effective extension of Simola24 when needed and also offers a haven from the Southerly breezes that prevail in the area.

Extensive glass elements and cavity sliding doors were placed to allow one to enjoy the great views from inside Simola24
