Villa Home

The site for Villa Home was a rare find within the world class Simola Golf and Country Estate. The site is very flat and easy to access.

Consequently, we explored a more interactive living arrangement. As such, we were able to access the views with little drama. The home is a split level design that incorporates an oversized entertainment terrace. This terrace has been deliberately lowered, consequently we were able to maximise the views down the Knysna River.

Furthermore we created a large flat garden that extends as far as possible on the site. This in turn creates privacy from the road below. The bedrooms all capture North light, and the interior design proposal offers a modern farm-house feel.
